Message from Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias on the Value of Public Employees

At a time when government workers are being maligned, besmirched and fired en masse, I want to take a minute to say Thank You to public servants everywhere who care about their communities and this country, without the appreciation & respect they deserve. Special shoutout my teammates at the IL Secretary of State’s who show up everyday with dedication and passion, especially right now as we are dealing with UNPRECEDENTED demand & requests for the (federally-mandated) Real IDs. Despite the stress and intense pressure, they remain as committed as ever. Thank You - I appreciate all that you do!
