From Monday, August 19, to Thursday, August 22, Chicago will be the proud host of the 2024 Democratic National Convention. More than 12,000 volunteers are needed to make this historic event a reality. Be a part of it! Apply by July 1 to help.
All volunteers must pass a background check required by the United States Secret Service. Be prepared to provide your social security or USCIS number on the application. (When you apply, please indicate that you were referred by the Illinois Federation of Teachers in the designated field.)
Volunteer shifts will be made available later this summer on a first come, first served basis to individuals who completed the application and cleared a background check.
Information sessions are being held this month to review the application and answer questions. Register today for the following online session.
